PatientSecure uses Fujitsu's PalmSecure, near-infrared light
wave palm scanner to scan a patient’s palm. This scan produces
a unique biometric signature to that patient’s unique vein
pattern. It is 100 times more unique than a fingerprint and more
secure. This biometric signature is then attached to the patient
medical record and stored.
The patient simply places their hand over the scanner and the patient’s
medical record is automatically brought up on the registrars screen.
This is all done without the need to exchange sensitive information.
Contactless, non-obtrusive
